It shows in this book. Even as a registered tech of six-plus years, I still find it a great review! Because many chapters are devoted to cardiac aliments that only cardiologists should treat, some chapters can safely be skipped, thus making this an even quicker read. Because many obviously affect the treatment of patients with peripheral arterial disease, it also provides invaluable information for the vascular surgeon.
No defects, little sign of use. Each disease chapter follows the same consistent format, for quick consultation and better comprehension. Save big by using this 2nd edition published a few years earlier than the nearly identical newer edition. This textbook would be an indispensable reference for any vascular laboratory. Covers treatment and interventions from an evidence-based perspective, whenever possible. Minor signs of wear, but will play almost perfectly.
The absence of discussion of the use of intravascular ultrasound is unfortunate, but overall, these newer chapters provide valuable insight into specific clinical problems encountered on a daily basis in a busy vascular laboratory. Scattered throughout are marvelous drawings of medieval medicine from the Philadelphia Museum of Art. He is also very encouraging for beginners and cross-trainers. Very Good VG : Will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it.
